Staff Wellbeing

Nexus Wellbeing Group

The Nexus Wellbeing Group is made up of staff across the school from all departments, and includes teachers, HLTAs and TAs. The Wellbeing Group's aim is to provide an overarching sense of wellbeing in school for the whole school community. The group meets twice a month and discuss whole school ideas and activities to support and promote wellbeing.

Previous activities have included bingo, quizzes, end of term treats, a wellbeing twilight and arranging for a specialist speaker to attend the school to share his story. We have wellbeing notice boards to promote and share information as well as celebrating individual staff members success. The group are also able to signpost staff to other services who can also offer support.

What have staff said about our previous wellbeing twilight?

"A massive thank you for the twilight last night, that was so much to organise outside your typical already long working day! Something for everyone and lots of positivity. Personally the cake and tea was perfect for my wellbeing last night."

"Thanks for last night. This was my first wellbeing twilight. I've never experienced something like this at previous schools. It's great that wellbeing is important."

"It was an amazing experience to be honest! I’d love to see more events like this."
