About us 

Nexus Together PTA was formed in January 2025, made up of parents and teachers generously volunteering their time and efforts to improve our brilliant school and its community. We are a small group, and Nexus is a big school, so we are always really keen to hear from family members, staff and friends who would like to join us!  

The main function of our PTA is to raise money to enhance, enrich and improve learning experiences for the children. We also want to provide those 'little extras' that make school memorable, from Easter egg hunts to leavers gifts.  

We also exist to build that bridge between teachers and parents so we can all be part of one community. Through putting on Christmas Fairs and Summer Fetes, we enjoy seeing the children with their families and building that community. A large number of our students get transport to school, so we hope to make opportunities for the community to come together.  

Lastly, we’re here for the simple reason that we want to get together socially, meet new people and have fun!
