What a great start of the year for our Nexus Football Team

Hello again to everyone returning for another week of Nexus News. This week we have had our first Parent’s Evening of this academic year, Stay and Play, a Football Tournament and other adventures & experiences.

As some of you may have seen on our Facebook page, the Nexus Football Team had their first tournament of the year. We took our two teams, and they competed against other schools and even ended up against each other for one natch. The competition was fierce but that did not stop the teams from raising each other’s spirits and upholding good sportsmanship. Apart from competing well in the tournament, we are even more proud of how they carried themselves through the difficult parts of the day. Well done Nexus Football Team.

Other  trips that have occured through out the week include a visit to the Sensory Barns, horse riding, and sailing. There have also been a handful of classes heading to Bedgebury to take part in the Room on the Broom Trail. These have been providing challenges and experiences that have been helping our children develop their confidence in themselves as well as learning a new skill.

Lastly, we are having an Qwn Clothes Day on Friday 16th next week, so we are asking for donations of new toys and bottles in preparation for our Christmas Fair in November. For more information reagrding upcoming events, please visit our events page.

Thank you to everyone for being a part of another wonderful week and look forward to seeing everyone again next week.
