A bright and colourful end to the week! 

Welcome back everyone to another busy week here at Nexus.

Some of you may have seen earlier this week that our students have been making the construction site look a little less dull. During a class Art lesson, the children went down to the walls blocking the construction site and began to paint the hungry caterpillar, fruit and butterflies across a portion of it. This has helped in making it look a lot brighter when passing by, also the children are able to look.at all the diggers, builders and cherry pickers through the spy holes. 

On Tuesday, we had a training session and an assembly by Great Athletes. The students got to meet Olympic athlete Heather Olver, who provided a great insight to being a professional athlete and  inspired us all with her commitment. We are very grateful for the visit and hope that everyone who got involved and was sponsered enjoyed the training session and talk. Thank you to our Sports Leader Jess Dunin for providing this experience for the children..

Lastly, our big event this week has been our Colour Run.  It was amazing to see how many children, parents and carers got involved and left a completely different colour to how they arrived. We hope that everyone who participated enjoyed the colour run as much as we did and hope to see everyone again at future events. Lastly, thank you to everyone who has donated or sponsored their child for the run, we are incredibly grateful for all the money raised.
