As part of their work towards gold duke of Edinburgh. These students participated in 5 days of sailing starting Poole Harbour. Everyone on board had a wonderful time, with particular highlights of the trip include watching England vs Ghana on the deck of the boat, going to the beach in Cowes (isle of Wight) and having a BBQ or celebrating a students birthday one evening on the deck of the boat.

All students worked incredibly hard to manage the challenges on the way from feeling sea sick to cooking all meals and evening helping to sail the boat. The students completed 75 miles of sailing while they were away and all gained the start yachting qualification. Some students will soon be able to use this to soon complete their Gold Duke of Edinburgh. Well Done everyone the staff and crew of the boat were very impressed with the students hard work and resilience.
