Our Experience at Patch Farm

Our Experience at Patch Farm

Knole and Ightham classes had a fantastic time working at Patch Farm. The experience was both enjoyable and rewarding, and we are very grateful to the team there for welcoming us so warmly. We hope to return in the future so we can continue helping out and building our skills.

During our time on the farm, we carried out a range of tasks, including weeding, raking, planting seeds, and preparing planting beds. These activities gave us a real insight into the hard work involved in farming and helped us to better understand what the job involves on a daily basis.

One of the most rewarding parts of the experience was sowing seeds and then seeing them begin to grow. It was exciting to see the results of our hard work and to feel that we had contributed to something meaningful. The farm itself is a beautiful environment, and after completing our tasks, we were given a tour, including areas at the back of the farm.

I am sure everyone in the group would agree that this was a valuable and enjoyable experience. We all learned new skills.
