First week back!

Welcome back everyone! We hope that you all had a pleasant Easter break and are excited to be back. The first thing you may notice is that Nexus now has a brand-new website. This new website has many improvements including more information and content, alongside making it easier to access.

In our first week back, we have been taking full advantage of the sunny weather. On the field and in Forest School there has been a hive of all sorts of activities, ranging from football, playing in the park, work experience and exploration in the sensory garden. As a gentle reminder, we would like to ask parents as it gets warmer to please send in hats, suncream and appropriate clothing. 

Even though it is only the first week back we already have lots planned for the upcoming term. Singing Hands will be visiting us next week; those doing Duke of Edinburgh will be on their expeditions; we will be having MakaMay this year to celebrate Makaton; and even more happening in each class. For parents there are online/in-person Makaton sessions, park walks and an EYFS stay and play. The dates and information for parent events will available on our website homepage.
