STLS Risk Assessment

Risk assessment

Dear Tonbridge and Malling SENCos

Over the next two terms, our focus as a service will be on supporting transition and helping address the students who have struggled to return to school following a year of disruption.

  • We have updated our Risk Assessment for Term 5. Please note that as a County STLS service we are now permitted to do up to 2 school/setting visits a day providing both parties Risk Assessments allow for this.
If your school or setting has an updated Risk Assessment please could you send this through to the STLS Admin Team admin@stls.nexusschool.org.uk

  • All LIFT meetings, School-Age and EYFS will take place virtually again this term. We would like to encourage all SENCo’s to attend your allocated groups whether or not you are making a referral.

  • Training and Surgeries will continue to be remote unless you are otherwise informed.

  • Transition information for Early Years, SEMH/Vulnerable pupils and the ASD transition project will be sent soon. check out our Transition Page for additional Transition Resources.

Please can I encourage you all to read and respond to the CATIE (Countywide Approach to Inclusive Education) to ensure that your voices are reflected in how this approach will be rolled out across our County schools and settings. https://www.kelsi.org.uk/special-education-needs/inclusion/countywide-approach-to-inclusive-education-feedback
